The rich are getting richer, while the poor scrape by.
Yeah I know I'm living a privileged life.
Never have I suffered.
Never lost anything worth living for.
And „There's no sense in trying.“ that's what they say.
Whenever I challenge the status-quo.
It feels so wrong, but I refuse to believe that I can't make a difference.
Because I see so much good in so many people's eyes,
like tinder waiting to be sparked.
A few are willing to sacrifice for a better day to come.
What better time then now?
It's not about the money or about the fame.
It's a smile from a hungry child to forget the agony around.

Befreit von der Last, steig ich empor aus dem tiefem Schwarz.
In mir da herrscht ein Sturm
Das Herz neu entfacht.
Narben die wieder verheilen.

Das Geschwür nah am Herzen getrennt und für immer verbannt.

Was der Bauer nicht kennt, das frisst er nicht.
Auf Zehenspitzen stehend wagen wir den Blick über den Gartenzaun.
